Given the steep and cliffy territory, the Amalfi Coast has a limited number of beaches which are nonetheless stunning locations. Most of these tend to have pebbles but sandy beaches can also be found around the villages of Maiori and Minori. For true beach and sea lovers, daily boats sail off from Amalfi harbor going to beautiful and unspoiled beach coves not accessible by land.
The most beautiful beaches on the Amalfi Coast
Amalfi Marina Grande – one of the main beach resort on the coast, right off Amalfi town. Here you will find snack bars and cafés with sunbeds and beach umbrellas making this a comfortable and lively beach location which can, however, get quite crowded during high season.
Marinella Beach – a small pebble beach with clear crystal waters right next to the restaurant La Marinella and a wooden walkway where you can find more sunning space. This is definitely a quieter spot to go swimming which also tends to be preferred by locals.
